CJC-1295 DAC (5mg)

$63.00$52.00

CJC-1295 DAC is a synthetic peptide that's being investigated for its potential to increase the body's natural production of growth hormone (GH). It is a 29-amino-acid analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). The peptide is modified with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), which is believed to enhance its stability and extend its half-life to approximately 8 days, making its effects potentially more prolonged compared to other GHRH analogs.

Research and Clinical Studies

Mechanism of Action

Research suggests that CJC-1295 DAC may increase GH and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels by binding to GHRH receptors on somatotroph cells in the pituitary gland. This is believed to activate a signaling cascade that leads to the transcription of the IGF-1 gene. Studies have reported an increase in average GH levels by 2- to 10-fold and IGF-1 levels by 1.5- to 3-fold for several days after a single exposure. This cumulative effect is believed to last up to 28 days with repeated exposure.

Half-Life

The DAC component is believed to significantly extend the half-life of CJC-1295. While native GHRH has a half-life of about 7 minutes, and CJC-1295 without DAC has a half-life of 30 minutes, the DAC-modified peptide is suggested to have a half-life of 6-8 days. This is thought to be due to its ability to bind to plasma proteins, prolonging its presence in the body.

Body Composition

Studies on murine models with a GHRH gene deletion suggest that CJC-1295 DAC may positively impact body composition. It appeared to normalize growth and increase muscle tissue hypertrophy while not increasing, or even possibly reducing, fat tissue levels. This suggests that CJC-1295 DAC may positively affect muscle and bone structure without promoting fat accumulation.
