Mod GRF 1-29 & GHRP-6 Blend (10mg)

$81.00$75.00

The Mod GRF 1-29 & GHRP-6 Blend is a synthetic peptide combination being researched for its potential synergistic effect on stimulating growth hormone (GH) secretion. Mod GRF 1-29 is a GHRH analog that is believed to work by activating GHRH receptors, while GHRP-6 is a ghrelin mimetic that activates ghrelin receptors. This dual action is hypothesized to lead to a more significant release of GH, which in turn may impact muscle mass, growth, and metabolism.

Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6

Research and Clinical Studies

Growth Hormone Secretion & Synergism

Both Mod GRF 1-29 and GHRP-6 are being investigated for their individual and combined potential to stimulate GH release from the pituitary gland.

Image of the pituitary gland

Mod GRF 1-29 appears to activate the adenylyl cyclase pathway, while GHRP-6 is thought to activate the phospholipase C (PLC) pathway. Both of these pathways may lead to an increase in intracellular calcium, which triggers the release of GH (2).

Research suggests that combining the two peptides may have a synergistic effect. While GHRP-6 alone reportedly caused a 47-fold increase in pulsatile GH secretion and an unaltered version of Mod GRF 1-29 caused a 20-fold increase, their combination resulted in a 54-fold increase (6). This dual mechanism of action is hypothesized to provide a more robust stimulation of GH secretion. The combination has also been reported to result in an over 65% increase in IGF-1 levels, which is the primary anabolic mediator of GH (4).

Muscle Mass & Metabolism

By increasing GH and IGF-1 levels, the peptide blend is being investigated for its potential to support muscle growth and combat muscle wasting. Clinical studies on GRF 1-29 suggest it may increase lean body mass and improve insulin sensitivity (5). In older subjects with low IGF-1 levels, GRF 1-29 also appeared to increase muscle strength and endurance (7).

GHRP-6 may also have anabolic potential. In myoblast cells, it was reported to increase the expression of myogenic marker proteins, IGF-1, and collagen type I, which are all crucial for muscle health (8). This suggests the blend may have a combined effect on muscle maintenance and repair.

Growth Hormone Deficiency & Cachexia

The blend's potential to increase GH levels makes it a subject of research for conditions like growth hormone deficiency and cachexia (muscle wasting). A clinical study on GRF 1-29 in subjects with GH deficiency reported a significant increase in height velocity over one year (9).

GHRP-6, developed as a ghrelin mimetic, is also being investigated for its potential to address cachexia, a state characterized by protein breakdown and weight loss. Research on ghrelin mimetics suggests they show promise in reversing these catabolic states, potentially through their actions on appetite, body composition, and energy expenditure (14).
