Mod GRF 1-29 & Ipamorelin Blend (10mg)

$89.00$84.00

The Mod GRF 1-29 & Ipamorelin Blend is a synthetic peptide combination being researched for its potential to stimulate growth hormone (GH) secretion. Ipamorelin is a GH secretagogue that selectively binds to ghrelin receptors, while Mod GRF 1-29 is a modified analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that binds to GHRH receptors. When used together, these peptides are hypothesized to have a synergistic effect on GH release.

Research and Clinical Studies

Growth Hormone Secretion & Selectivity

Research suggests that both Mod GRF 1-29 and Ipamorelin work to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to release growth hormone.

Image of the pituitary gland

Mod GRF 1-29 is thought to activate the adenylyl cyclase pathway, while Ipamorelin may activate the phospholipase C (PLC) pathway. Both pathways are believed to increase intracellular calcium, which prompts the release of GH (7, 8, 9).

A key distinction noted in studies is the selectivity of Ipamorelin. Unlike some other GH secretagogues, Ipamorelin does not appear to significantly influence the release of other hormones from the pituitary, such as prolactin, ACTH, or cortisol. This selectivity suggests that the peptide may be particular in its function (4).

Gastrointestinal System & Appetite

Ipamorelin's potential to activate ghrelin receptors has led to research on its effects on the gastrointestinal system and appetite. Studies suggest that Ipamorelin may accelerate gastric emptying and counteract the suppression of gastric smooth muscle contractility (10).

Additionally, research indicates that Ipamorelin may boost appetite, with some experimental subjects experiencing an increase in body weight and fat pad weights. It is theorized that the peptide may increase feeding, which contributes to the observed weight gain (11).

Bone Density

Ipamorelin is also being investigated for its potential effects on bone mass. In a study on murine models, Ipamorelin appeared to be linked to a potential increase in bone mineral content in the tibia and vertebrae. The observed increase in cortical bone mineral content (BMC) may be attributed to an enlargement in the bone's cross-sectional area (12).
