Sermorelin (5mg)
$54.00$48.00
Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide that mimics the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It is being researched for its potential to bind with GHRH receptors on the pituitary gland, which may stimulate the secretion of growth hormone (hGH) and subsequently increase levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1).

Research and Clinical Studies
Growth Velocity & Anabolic Outcomes
Sermorelin is being investigated for its potential to stimulate growth in models with growth hormone deficiency. In one study, underdeveloped animal models that were exposed to Sermorelin reportedly showed an increased growth and height velocity rate within 12 months. These elevated levels were said to be sustained for an average of 36 months after continuous exposure (7).
Research also suggests Sermorelin's potential to enhance anabolic processes. One study reported an 82% increase in average growth hormone levels, while another hypothesized a 107% increase in hGH and a 28% increase in IGF-1. The latter study also suggested a gain in lean body mass of approximately 2.78 lbs, with no significant change in fat mass (13, 14).
Lipodystrophy & Cognition
A controlled clinical study involving HIV-positive subjects with lipodystrophy suggested that Sermorelin exposure led to a significant increase in growth hormone and IGF-1 levels. This reportedly resulted in increased lean body mass and a reduction in abdominal visceral fat and the ratio of trunk to lower extremity fat (8).
Clinical research has also explored the potential correlation between declining growth hormone levels and impaired cognition in older adults. In one study, subjects who were exposed to Sermorelin reportedly showed improved performance on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and verbal tests (9).
Hypogonadism & Tumor Cells
Preliminary research suggests that Sermorelin may stimulate the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which could in turn stimulate testosterone production. A clinical study on older male subjects reported an increase in testosterone levels after Sermorelin exposure, although the levels were not statistically significant (11).
In a separate study, Sermorelin was reported to induce the most sensitivity in glioma subjects compared to over 4,000 other compounds. Researchers suggested this might be due to its potential to block tumor cell cycles, thereby preventing tumor cell proliferation (10).
