Vialox (Pentapeptide-3V) (200mg)

$185.00$176.00

Vialox, also known as Pentapeptide-3V, is a synthetic peptide that is being researched for its potential as a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocker. Its mechanism of action is hypothesized to be similar to that of tubocurarine, where it may act as a competitive antagonist by binding to and blocking nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on the postsynaptic membrane of muscle cells. By potentially preventing muscle contraction, Vialox is being investigated for its possible effects on reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Research and Clinical Studies

Mechanism of Action

Vialox is being researched as a potential inhibitor of neurotransmitter activity. Researchers believe it may function by binding to acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction, which are responsible for transmitting signals from nerves to muscles. By blocking these receptors, Vialox may prevent the opening of sodium ion channels that would normally lead to muscle depolarization and contraction. This inhibition could cause muscles to remain relaxed, which is hypothesized to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin (1, 2, 4).

Wrinkle Development & Skin Texture

Due to its potential muscle-relaxing effects, Vialox is being researched for its use in cosmetic applications to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture. In one study, exposure to the peptide reportedly resulted in a 71% reduction in muscle contractions within one minute, leading to a 58% reduction two hours later. This reduced frequency of muscle contractions is hypothesized to lead to shallower lines on the skin's surface. Another study reported a noticeable decrease of 49% in wrinkle size and a 47% decrease in skin roughness after 28 days of consistent exposure (4, 9).
